Fellow EU Projects and Networks

There are a number of European research and innovation projects similar to SpongeScapes, all addressing climate and biodiversity challenges. These projects focus on nature-based solutions (NbS) in both urban and rural areas, providing diverse case studies across the wide variety of European landscapes and bioregions. They combine natural and social sciences with digital technologies to better evaluate NbS, identify their benefits and trade-offs, and involve local stakeholders in their implementation and success.
